Cookie Policy

No creepy cross-site ad tracking network here. Just the handful of cookies and local storage entries it actually takes to run a login, remember your preferences, and keep the lights on.
1. Essential — can't be turned off
These make the site work. Without them, you can't stay logged in.
| Name | What it does |
|---|---|
shipex_session | Keeps you logged in. Expires after 30 days or when you log out. |
ref_code | Remembers which affiliate referred you, if any, so they get credit if you sign up. |
2. Functional — stored locally, never sent anywhere
These live in your browser's local storage, not as cookies, and never leave your device. They just remember your preferences between visits.
| Name | What it does |
|---|---|
shipex_theme | Remembers whether you're using light or dark mode. |
shipex_progress | Remembers which lessons you've completed and where you left off. |
| Playback speed, discussion rules seen, etc. | Small preferences so we don't nag you twice. |
3. Advertising
We run the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on our homepage to measure how our ads are performing and to build lookalike audiences. It's Meta's tracking script, not ours — if you're logged into Facebook/Instagram, they may associate your visit with your account per their own policy. It only runs on the homepage, not inside the members' area.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings any time. Blocking shipex_session specifically just means you'll have to log in every visit — everything else keeps working. Most browsers also let you block third-party trackers like the Meta Pixel without breaking the rest of the site.
5. Changes
If what we use changes, we'll update this page.
